Earthtoned Chalice and Paten Set

Product Description

Designed to be authentic to the period of ancient Isarel. The interior of the cup is a deep chocolate brown, the exterior a natural ochre to brown glaze. It is glazed with what is called a slip glaze; that is a glaze made with natural clay.  This clay I dug on my farm in Kentucky, processed it and created the glaze on the pieces.  Chalice: 6 1/4 ” high Paten: 7″ across

All pieces are ovenproof, dishwasher safe, microwavable and non-toxic. All dimensions stated are average, and due to the nature of handcrafted pottery, color of glazes and dimensions may vary slightly with individual pieces.
